I think we should all be proud to have a real man like Dabo coaching our Tigers. He had the courage to do what he thought was right and suspend a dynamic player like Watkins for 2 games. Tigers are 2-0. Yesterday we could have hung 80 on Ball State. He pulled the offensive skill players very early and gave our whole team a chance to get in on the action. Go Tigers!

It's not always easy or popular to do the "right thing". Dabo has that quality that Clemson Alumni can be proud of.

Correct about Dabo. Class act all the time.

Meanwhile...down in Cootlumbia...coot fans have so much to be proud of having Stevie as their lenient coach who chastises the fans for leaving early yesterday. What a wonderful role model.

You are absolutely right. There's a quote along the lines of "Wrong is wrong even if everyone is doing it. Right is right even if no one is doing it."

I am so proud to be part of a university that does what is important and right, no matter the cost. It makes me sick when other universities "suspend" their players (if a consequence is even given at all) for a quarter. Players must be taught responsibility and that actions do have consequences. Dabo definitely has his team's respect now--I doubt any of the guys will be so silly again (or at least silly enough to get caught...).

sides of the ball. We also need film on everybody on the team whether or not they'll be playing FSU next week. We need all this to prepare for the future and not just this season.

I'd take a good safe lead with my starters and wear Furman's starting defense down real good before I substituted our QB.

But then, what do I know?
