Corners have the potential to be good but it is a question mark. This Defense is going to be special. If the offense can find its way this can be a playoff team.

Our best case scenario is basically how Booth/Goodrich emerged this year.

Davis probably doesn’t have as high of a ceiling as booth though. I would love it if we got a transfer CB that was a starter elsewhere for depth. Our defense is absolutely loaded everywhere else, so our CB’s are going to get thrown at a lot.

Have more proven bodies at CB than the 2

inside LB spots.

We lose two 3-star LBs and replace them with highly-ranked

Jan 22, 2022, 10:56 AM

4-stars guys. This is what recruiting junkies say needs to happen.

If our new guys can’t cut it, then we all probably need to quit worrying about the way our recruiting classes are ranked because on paper we are back filling right now with Skalski/Spector level talent.

I personally like the way the entire starting defense looks for 2022. We may not be “Too Deep”, but we’re loaded at the ones.

That's where I am

depth at LB is very slim and starters at Mike and Will, whoever they are, are lacking experience.

We have 6 corners on campus. The 4 returnees have all played a good bit, three 4 stars and a 5 star. The two early enrollees both high 4 stars. And a 7th a 3 star who comes in over the summer.

Defense won’t be a problem plenty of bodies to scheme with it’s the offense that needs to come around. Be nice to average over 30 points a game
