CW42 Penalty. Opinion.

I am of the opinion CW42 would not have received the tongue lashing he received had the pose not drawn a penalty. Anyone else disagree?

I think the game wasn't a big enough gap at that point and Coach Swinney was just aggravated about the penalty more than anything.

In fact, the penalty could have just as easily have not been called. Anyone of the belief he still gets that level of tongue lashing w/o the penalty? No way he does in my opinion. At most he would have been advised to wait until he gets to the sideline or for him to be careful! Nothing on that level. The college kids don't realize they have not eased up on the celebration penalties like they have in the NFL. I have seen far more taunting type celebrations this season than the Heisman pose. And those were not called.

Ticky-Tack call in my opinion but a call the official had a right to make. Just not of the opinion he was taunting the opponent! Or that w/o the penalty it would have been blown up.
