Curious what people think. Just left Publix in Clemson

There’s a big ### sign on the door that says you have to wear a mask to enter the store. Probably 2/3 of the people in there refuse.

This really irritates me as a business owner. I don’t want to wear a mask anywhere, but if a business says you have to wear one or stay away I’ll wear one, or go somewhere else. Why do people just not give a ####? Maybe Publix should refuse to check you out if you don’t do as they’ve asked.

If I post on my business front door that you have to wear a tutu and a top hat to enter, you #### well better do that. If not I’ll perp walk your ### out. My business, my rules. F you if you don’t like my rules…go away.

If I ran the Publix I would request an officer hang out in the back aisle and hand out the $100 fines. They’d make a fortune.

Ok. I feel better now. Carry on.

Not sure they can fine patrons, but they can ask them to leave. A lot of the Karens and Kens on this board will lose their minds but

that they don't is just part of the "f-ck you" attitude that increasingly permeates society today. Such incivility, and our growing indifference to it, is a disturbing trend.

I too own a business and completely agree. I’d comply or go elsewhere. That business has every right to make their own rules and you have every right not to go there. That’s free market. But I get it’s tough on business right now. There’s no pleasing both sides. Would you want to lose out on 2/3rds of those unmasked peoples money?

Glad my business is run with a small office staff and I rarely interact with customers at my property
