Reid Webster was also a 4 star and Battle was only a 3 star but the coaches think he is the most talented of all the linemen. Don't forget that Mitch Hyatt out of Georgia who will be a top 5 talent nationally is a heavy Clemson lean for next year so I think Clemson does just fine recruiting the big uglies all you have to do is go back through the recruiting lists of the past few years to find plenty of good talent on the O-line at Clemson....

Clemson has had skill positions for years. The offensive line and defensive lines were just overlooked. Clemson has had 2 former head coaches as O Line coaches and still couldn't get it together.

Times are changing and the better the athletes on the lines the better the team can do overall.

It doesn't always make recruiting services give you high marks overall. however, recruiting should be to your team's needs not for star power. Fortunately it seems like coaches are focusing on getting the hot shot skill players and the blocking bodies to get the big wins not jus the blowouts over lesser teams
