It’s hilarious that the teams that never win anything always have the fans that have to ride the coattails of the teams in their conference that actually do win. Teams like miss st, USuCk, ole miss etc. What a bunch of losers.

The SEC didn't win their first CWS title until UGa won in 1990. The most titles from the SEC in the CWS is clearly LSU with 6 titles from 1991 to present. There are only three others titles from the SEC, Florida last year, and SCAR in 2010 and 2011. Historically, the West coast dominated the CWS. The PAC 12 has 27 CWS titles, at one point winning 7 in a row.
Basketball, Kentucky is the breadwinner from the SEC, outside of that no real perennial powers.
So basically, Alabama, LSU, and Kentucky carry the SEC in the big three men's sports.

The coot thinks the SEC is the mountaintop of all conferences. Just shows you don't have to be very intelligent to attend or support that school. They are the mountaintop when it comes to cheating. Lets see, the coots have added a national championship in women's basketball and baseball, both minor sports. Remove Alabama and your conference is very average.

I missed it this time, but I did catch my daughter chanting SEC SEC SEC at the end of the Chick-fil-a bowl when Catman hit the field goal to beat LSU. She said that was what she heard people chanting on TV after a win. In hindsight, I guess the Bayou Tigers got mocked by a 12 year old girl.

Not at all. What is the point of conferences then? You want to be a part of a strong conference that is better than others and you want all teams in your conference to help achieve that. That means pulling for your conference when they play any out of conference school...etc. If my boys or girls aren’t in it but a conference brother is, #### right I am pulling for them. Not a coattail rider by any means.

I can remember Clemson students chanting ACC in the early 80's after we were put on probation, but it wasn't in a context of showing conference pride.
