Covid Prayer request

My son and I were both Covid tested today (positive). I have never seen anything like what we experienced. The number of people that are sick is mind boggling. Please pray for for all that are sick. Please also pray for our healthcare workers that are having to navigate this current mess.

Prayers for you and your son, tigergirlga. Praying for a quick and full recovery for both of you. Praying you will feel the peace that comes from knowing Gods hand is upon you both during this fearful time. Also, I want to send along a heartfelt thank you for your prayer request for healthcare workers. My son and I both work in critical care areas of our hospitals. It has been and continues to be heart wrenching to see the suffering and pain this beast has brought to our patients and their families and our co workers as well. However we both stand strong on the promises of our Lord and Savior to always be with us and to bring us through this storm. He will absolutely do the same for y’all. ??

Our whole house is sick too. Whole family. Christmas was a super spreader event. 16 out of 16 sick.
If vaxxed, it's just a bad cold. Definitely milder. We've had worse colds.

For a day or two. Then over. It wasn't "mild" for our kids, or my nieces and nephews. Adults, it's been very mild.

Absolutely prayers for you and the health providers. A massive challenge for the next few weeks. 7 of our 8 family members all have it or just got over it. Grateful for those who find it mild. It has ended the lives of too many we know. Godspeed to your families.

Not sure if you're vaxed with booster and not sure your son's age. If you're triple vaxed and have the omicron strain, yours should be upper respiratory... Hopefully. Please watch your son close if he's not vaxed (young) as this strain still projects as lower lung respiratory in them. If you have a pulse ox, use it just to check if his and yours dropping. Push for best care possible and Godspeed.

up until now, only a couple folks had gotten it... and with fairly mild symptoms. But in the last week or so, it's spreading like crazy. Let's hope the symptoms of this new variant stay mild as well...

Fever, dry cough, muscle ache, and some drainage. I was given a z pack and strong vitamin D. They were out of monoclonal antibodies but, may have some at the medical college if needed. I feel that I will be fine but, I am worried about my son. I am obviously monitoring him closely for breathing difficulties, purple lips, or confusion. I waited too late to purchase a pulse ox. I am ordering one from Amazon but, it will not be here until Thursday.

I went to the hospital for a little over a week due to a Covid Pneumonia. What I have gathered is that it comes down to breathing issues. I had just over 80% oxygen levels, which is dangerous. Anyway, I believe you will be okay, but it hits everyone differently. Anyway, wishing you well my friend.

Monoclonal antibodies cost the govt about 2 thousand dollars a patient. Vacccine cost the US Govt about 20 dollars per dose.

what symptoms you have?
worst for me was a really , really painful lower back so i soaked in the jaqueeze bath tub for a long time. Seem to help a little.

I have covid again. I got it last September. This time around seemed to be worse but thanks to God looking out for me I am getting back on my feet.
I will be praying for you and your son that you covid bout is short and you make a full speedy recover. May God Bless you both.

You will be fine. I had Omicron and know 10ppl with it and all of us just had a mild cold basically.

Omicron seems to be more contagious than Delta but not quite as hospital lethal. On the other hand, if the infection numbers go sky high, then even a small hospitalization percentage could mean that our health care system is flooded beyond capabilities, which is the problem with Covid. Did they tell you that you had Omicron or are you just guessing ? i am curious as to how the testing diagnosis reads.
