I love to make fun of the ##### as much as the next fan but I will take up for Beamer on this one. Total Barstool clickbait for laughs deal here. Beamer was responding to a question which is not in the clip. He does not sound like he is bragging about our scoring opponents on the 4th quarter like it is an accomplishment.

The article is funny the same way the onion or the Babylon bee is funny, the difference is you know those articles are satire

You know, you can't forgive him for being a coot but rather having that coot optimism that completely breaks with reality. We can see that he cares and is trying but you can't convince "coots" to be something they are not. You can convince them to be anything other than an under-performing, train-wreck of cheap tricks and PR nightmares.

At some point in time, you have to convince yourself it was a bad decision... or remain a coot.

Reminds me of all the South Carolina fans I've heard mention that they're the first team to score a touchdown against Georgia this season as if scoring in garbage time with less than a minute left against backups is a brag. I even heard one saying they're better than Oregon because they gave up less points than Oregon did.
