Most of us that where raised in SC have family or friends who are totally looney toons & coot fans.
I live in NC now & my neighbor is a couple that both have worthless degrees from the u of sc, other than that they are great folks but they feel like they have to be coot fans and live through the failure.
I try not to say anything unless they bring it up and they always do in the off-season & before our 30-0 game because they had false hope they would win.

Bad teams can have weirdly good stats in some places. Often they have big passing numbers despite lots of Ls. The inverse is true. Good teams are not going to bomb away.
Then you are being beaten so badly, starters are pulled after the 1st quarter, are you going to make it rain? No, you pull everyone and let the walkons "run" down the clock literally.
That being said, they allowed 4.7 yards per run. Nearly 200 yards a game. Folks were running up the score too. Literally.

For one unsportsmanlike penalty a game. Especially if he makes a good play he’s bound to showboat like crazy.
It’s pretty funny seeing his texts during the game. He’s constantly begging to get his dumb ace off the field. Haha.

Nobody had to pass the ball on them because their D gave up almost 5 yards a rush.
But hey, coots gonna coot, so there's that.

Not many teams even worried about passing on them. They knew their run defense was pitiful so they just played ball control and beat them the old fashion way. Us included. Also they didn’t face any prolific passing offenses this season. I’ll give them the UNC game though. Sam Howell looked like dog doo do against them. So maybe there is some merit to it.

Lol at the average ranking of the passing offenses they played. That skewed this ranking a lot
