Yeah but he Lines up at TE in many of the Rams run sets and blocks LBs out of their shoes. Like one of the posters said they are completely different athletes.

Kupp but it's probably closer than a lot of people realize. Kupp 13.4 yards per reception Hunter 10.1. Kupp averaged a TD every 12 receptions while Renfrow had one every 14.

You cherry picked 2 stats...and neither of them puts Renfrow ahead of Kupp. Kupp's 13.4 average is 33rd in the NFL. Renfrow's 10.1 is 94th in the league. Massive difference.
Kupp averaged a TD every 9 receptions, not every 12 (145 rec, 16 TD)
Renfrow averaged a TD every 11.4 receptions.
Kupp won the "triple crown" of receiving by leading the league in receptions, yards, and TDs. He nearly broke the all-time single-season receiving yards record.
Hunter is my favorite player, but this is Kupp by a LANDSLIDE.

I didn't cherry pick anything. Total yards are difficult to compare bc of many factors so I used ypc. Also I may have figured TDs per target instead of per reception but the difference is negligible. Kupp was also targeted 60 more times than Hunter. I acknowledge that Kupp was better I was just pointing out that it's not as crazy a difference as some might think.

You really can't compare. May compare Kupp with Gronk or Refrow to Edleman. They probably both lose in those matchups however.

Kupp is one of the best WRs in the league. Hunter is going to have to step his game up another level to get into that tier.

Discussion: Kupp is better. If you think Renfrow is in the same discussion as Kupp you’re wrong. I love Renfrow and think he is a really good NFL WR and is tracking to become a great NFL WR. Kupp was the BEST WR in the NFL this season. Seems easy to me.
