Hey, if you are retired, that is NO PENALTY! You have no job to get up for the next day, so sleep later if you want.
Luckliy for Moi, I don't have the need to maintain a "regimented" schedule in retirement. I really do take it to mean "Do what you want, and nothing you don't." I earned myself that right by working hard for a lot of years, and now totally enjoy sitting around on ye olde behind and watching the world go by.

Retirement is a great thing. Hope you enjoy it as much as I, even though I still do a lot of work. It's work I've wanted to do for about 50 years, and it's fun to see some of it accomplished. Be well, my friend, and GO Tigers!!!

It takes a little getting used. You might be so busy that you wonder how you had time to work. I spent too much time on the couch during the pandemic and just now trying to get back into shape don't that. Keep moving. I am 82.
