It seems to me the committee is choosing the teams they want in THEN making up rhetoric to support their decision, not the other way around!

Agreed - seems they are more interested in - giving the other teams a fair chance!
But Clemson Coaches and players and support staff have "WORKED" their rear hind quarters off to put themselves in the position they are in. No one gave it to them!
Just crazy!

I will have to see it to believe it - leaving out a team on a 28 game win streak and winners of 2 of the last 3 National Championships. And a team that has played in 3 of the last 4.
The outrage would be immense!

They do, just not in the Championship game. At least the purest do. Anybody who has played or is 100% a college football fan wants the two best teams, right?
While I understand each individual has their favorite team, no one can deny this Clemson vs Bama clash of the titans. Folks are such fakes and liars, I’ve never seen a rivalry develop in such a way. We’ve become rivals and we both had to make it to the National Championship to do it. That speaks of consistency and pure dominance. As Hunter Renfrow tweeted yesterday, “ the cream always rises to the top”.

Somehow bama and CU will have to play in the 1st round. Guarantees no rematch. If bama beats LSU they go ahead of OSU. We go to four. "When" PSU loses to the buck nuts we remain 4 and LSU jumps us.
LSU wins it's a 2 vs 3 1st round Alabama vs. Clemson.

Oh, I totally agree, I fully believe it will be the semi now. I was convinced the committee would put us at #2. I was wrong. Still plenty of ball to come.

The problem a sa I see it is that the committee has not screwed up yet.(Until now?) The odds of that continuing with the head of the committee hailing from Oregon are not really strong. Did you listen to his explanation last night?
