This is the same Oregon team that got absolutely destroyed by UGA and barely beat Washington State (only 1 conference win). If some of these media heads would just say outright that "We're sick and tired of seeing Clemson in the playoffs", I would respect their opinion more....maybe.

In this case it’s not opinions, it’s propaganda. Why do all projections exclude the ACC? Why is the ACC being treated like that mangled guy in 300 who Leonidas wouldn’t let join?

Based on what exactly?
"Team De jour" is every national media pundit's "Big Brother" that's going to beat Clemson up one day.
Every single year we hear talking head-idiots spout off about how bad the ACC is, and more often than not it's a bias born out of the journalistic circle-jerk that they're all privy to. Their mindset: "SEC and BIG rock, BIG XII can't play defense, but OK is awesome, and the PAC12 is better than the ACC most years'".
How else do you explain the annual over-valuing of the SEC conference top to bottom as well as the BIG but the constant under-acknowledgement of what Clemson does on an annual basis?
If they weren't COMPLETEY BIASED in the 1st place how else would you explain it? I mean, if it weren't for the CFP Committee the Press (AP) would have been left Clemson out of every National Championship game since 1981. We'd never have made the CFP Top 4, not in any single season. DW4 and Trevor would have been sitting at home watching some fraud from the BIG get destroyed by 'Bama.
WHATEVER. He's irrelevant, and Clemson would DESTROY Oregon. Too bad Oregon won't be making the CFP. Dream on Colin, same dream new year. Clemson will most likely be in, and your "Team De jour" won't.

ESPN talking heads were previewing the upcoming bowl season. When they got around to Clemson vs Ohio State, they asked Lou what his take was on the game. Holtz got a pained look on his face as if they were insulting him by forcing him to say anything at all about Clemson and mumbled, "Ohio State will win and do it easily" then turned his head away from the rest of the group.

Klatt & Cowherd aren't any different than Finebaum, Dinich, or any of the ESPN talking heads. They're paid to push a narrative by their respective organizations to benefit those they've hitched their wagons to.
As long as we keep winning & the team meets those goals that are laid out each season, they're gonna be right there. Only opinion that matters here in a few days going forward is what the CFP Committee ranks us.

All we got to do is keep winning. It’ll shut everyone up. Our main problem is we have not had a complete game where we dominated start to finish and the media sees that. That’s fine. We can see the potential and know that if we do put play a complete game we would dominate everyone on our schedule.
It’s November now and that’s typically when we start to put it all together. If we are undefeated we go to the CFP.
