COle didn't just have his best game for his fellow players..

he also played lights out for those of us that hung our heads when he made mistakes, or when he couldn't make those throws due to pain, or his lack of practice with the 1's, or the OC's limitations on the playbook for him. No - he won it for us ol' farts that kept pulling for him even though it hurt sometimes. The man has class, and represents CLEMSON like we like to see our beloved university represented. I would never ask someone to give more than Cole Stoudt gave to us. I can only feel sympathy for those who constantly pointed out his flaws, and failed to ever find his positives.

If some of you that are managers in business, or someday hope to become managers of people, and you don't understand how your actions speak volumes about your lack of support, then let's all hope you never ever become managers. If you're a CLEMSON student or graduate, and you can't see that, then you are failing or have already failed at life. NOW would be a good time to start changing that.

And I'm not saying that you should not be critical - but try to criticize the process - not the person. I personally criticize coaches on a regular basis, but I try to be critical of their flaws or lack of understanding/judgement - and not the person themselves. I probably walk a very thin line myself, but I try to stay barely on the positive side of being critical. :)

Just an ol' man's thoughts on how we should respect our players.

then and it appeared that Chad lost his confidence in him then. Way too early, and a player would have a hard time regaining confidence in himself when his coach does not trust him and designed a "20 play conservative playbook" for him, and even publicly advertised it before GT game, not knowing DW would be injured in that game early. And GT players said they knew those "20 plays" by studying film. I do think Morris ought to refund a few hundred thousand, and I hope the coaching of Streeter will prove this???? I hope that Cole will have great game, and put him back on pro-candidate board. He is after all much more of a pro-style qb and Morris wanted the free-style pass/run qb that DW is and Tajh was...This game will be interesting to watch. GO TIGERS! And please withhold the booing no matter what!

calling out "tigerking" and "psbo" especially

You are dead on the mark. Just look around @ other programs and that dumpster fire in Columbia where South Carolina's Mr.Football quits 'cause the OBC ain't showing him enough love. Cole Stoudt is/was the epitomy of class and gave his heart and soul to us, the Tiger nation. If at the end of the day, you can't man-up and give him all he is due - and it's a gracious plenty - then maybe you need to look elsewhere for gratification on beautiful fall afternoons in God's country. We don'tneed your money or your "support."
