Coastal Carolina

Jul 28, 2017, 4:59 PM

Head coach Joe Moglia will miss the 2017 season on a five-month medical sabbatical, due to an asthmatic reaction to allergies, according to Yahoo Sports. He will return to running the program after the season. Offensive coordinator and former Charleston Southern head coach Jamey Chadwell will serve as interim head coach. It will be Coastal's first season in FBS.

Chadwell is a good coach. CC is no longer associated with USuCk I don't believe.

I Agree that Chadwell is a good coach.......the head coach is a banker not a coach, that is why i think it is set up for him to "take over". The other guy can be like Phil Knight at Oregon, win - win.

The banker is actually a brilliant coach. He's as unorthodox and blue-sky as Mike Leach and a whole lot more personable.

He has won an absurd amount of games and elevated Coastal to an FBS program almost overnight, and I think if he'd gone back into coaching even 5-10 years before he did the guy would have taken over college football, he's that bright.
