Alabama loses to a bad, unranked team and falls a mere 4 spots. Clemson meanwhile DOESN'T EVEN PLAY A GAME AND DROPS 4 SPOTS!!!
Now you can say what you will about coaches poll doesnt matter etc, but it does speak to the mindset of the people involved in these types of things.
Plenty of other examples throughout the poll.....OU looks horrible, AGAIN, moves up to 3rd! Joke. Notre Dame....lol....on and on. Guess if you are a "name" school it just doesn't matter what you actually do on the field.

Difference between Alabama and our current team. I do agree with some of your points. I think they are always more than generous with Auburn, a team with two losses, almost lost to Georgia State, and was blown out by Georgia. Not nearly as competitive as we were, but there they are at 26, ready to get back in.

We don't suck. DJ just has over thought everything and Dabo refuses to make a move to see if TP won't. Dabo's decision makes us look like we don't have an answer is, imo, what separates us from pretty much any other team. Yes, that sucks!

Does our defense suck, special teams suck? No, and neither does and our RBs, WRs, and a portion of our Oline. We have a weakness at Oline, our QB is not sure of himself and our HC is not making a move to clear anything up. Dabo is set on it fixing itself amd I get the feeling that it has to do with not wanting to damage that pipeline that DJ came from. Once Cade gets here there will be nothing stopping the move but right now it is not happening. Anywhere else TP would have seen the field in more games than SC St.

ND has ALWAYS been over rated. They have a horseshoe up their as s. Barely beat VT in last minute(s), barely beat Fl. State in overtime, barely beat Toledo by 3 points. What a joke.

OU might not be the greatest team but are undefeated and find ways to win. Riley did what Dabo won't do and pulled his QB. If OU looks horrible what does Clemson look like?

Less about Oklahoma finding a way to win than it is Texas finding a way to lose. With a lead that big there is now way a school like Texas should have lost that game...but they did. SMH.

I think 4 spots sounds about right. 4 or 5 max. They nailed it. It's not like it was just some random unranked team in some mellow environment. It also came down to a fg. I think they got it right. We all know Bama is a top 5 team.

No it's not. It's not black and white, nor should it ever be. The coaches use their brains coupled with rational thought. Texas A&M and Clemson are different. There are scenarios and variables. Not all unranked scenarios are the same. We all know which teams have talent and which teams don't.

They lost to a bad, unranked team. Clemson dropped like 20 spots when we lost to an unranked team. And need i remind you, A&M beat colorado by a fieldgoal, scored 10 points in a loss to arkansas, and got popped by miss freaking state AT HOME.

A&M has talent though and has recruited well. Some would say that we are bad the way we have played. It would shock nobody if we turned the corner and jelled one game and kicked butt. We aren't your typical unranked team. Put it this way, if Bama played us they wouldn't be as penalized had they lost to Coastal Carolina or Wake Forest. The coaches have perspective.

I agree, but they are perceived to have talent. Just like we are. Didn't A&M start the season 5 or something? Perception of what teams should be matters to people. Just like us, if we exploded the rest of the season and torched everyone, they would say we are playing to where we should have been. They don't think we have unranked talent. Everybody knows who recruits well. It's a factor.

Not that tealented. That haven't recruited that well in years. They didn't have the talent. A&M has recruited at a high level the last couple of years. FSU hasn't recruited that well in about a decade.
