Coaches Poll 10/31/21 just came out.

This one is kinda important as it is the only one the CFP committee takes into account.
They release this Tuesday. Their first top six list is huge! Unlike past years, I see lots of movement in it before the final list.
No non Power Five team has ever made it in. Cincinnati has the win over Notre Dame but will have nothing else. Notre Dame is playing great, but can you move them over Cincinnati by year's end? ND schedule has been weak.
Georgia clearly seems to be the best team, but they have only the win over Florida. Clemson being squat has hurt UGA a lot. Their schedule is weak. They still have Alabama but are they in with a loss to Alabama?
Alabama is in if they win out, but a loss to UGA will probably keep them out.
Oklahoma appears to be lock for one of the top four spots.
Oregon (all Pac 12) appeared to be out when the season started. That win over OHS is now huge. If they win out (and they should) they might be in. UGA winning out will help them as it would take out Alabama.
The Big Ten is still ###. Michigan State was picked to be last, but are undefeated. OHS has the loss to Oregon. Both teams have some hard games left.

I would love it if ND's weak (read ACC game) schedule would sink them. I cant stand the favoritism that bunch gets for NO reason

There really isnt anyone that screams elite. A couple really good teams followed by a whole bunch of meh. What a poor time for us to stink it up.

Have to disagree with you on ND. Zero quality wins and one loss to a marginal Cincy team. Cincy isn't close to the team of last year. UNC as we know has a horrible D as does every team in the ACC not named Clemson. A chance ND could end the year with just 2 wins over winning teams and zero ranked teams. 15 is about where they should be.
I think in the end UGA and Bama are in... If the SEC game is close and bamy wins. Imo Oklahoma will lose along the way. Oregon will get left out because of sos. Meechigan finally has an offensive pulse.

If Clemson’s offense wasn’t bottom of the barrel this year, Georgia would have lost right out of the gate.

Yep, one could argue that the best team UGA has played is a very mediocre 5-3 Clemson team that has struggled to consistently do anything on offense all year. Let that sink in for all you SEC lurkers out there.

I enjoy watching college football. I watch many games, sometimes more than one at a time.
I agree the ACC is out this year due to Clemson being out. We can't carry their a$$ every year.
To be honest, often I enjoy other team games more than when we play. I like Tiger games when we are up a hundred at the half. Other wise I get tense and kinda crazy.

Georgia isn’t the best team, they couldn’t score against us. The way our offense played they should’ve rolled us, they will lose to bama in the sec championship game.

Did you watch the UGA - Clemson game? It's pretty obvious why UGA didn't "roll" Clemson; Clemson has a great defense. The Dawg defense looks good enough to carry them to a national title. The concern is Stetson Bennett. If it comes down to it, I'm not sure he is going to be able to beat a playoff caliber team.

Michigan State should have jumped OSU. And IMO Bama should not be in the top 4. A lot of politics going at these two schools. I would not be surprised if both schools had lobbyist actively working in Congress, the NCAA as well as the CFP Committee. They always seem to catch more breaks the every other school.

LOL, you're not being just a tad bit biased there, are you? I mean we "have only the win over Florida"? Our schedule is weak? What about all those other teams you mention? Who has Oklahoma played? Oregon has the good win vs Ohio St, and they beat UCLA. Ohio St basically has 2 quality wins: Minnesota and Penn St. Mich St has 1 quality win vs Michigan. Heck, even mighty Alabama has only beaten 2 teams with winning records. Fact is, UGA is the only team in the country who has beaten five Power 5 teams with winning records, and 6 winning teams overall (UAB is G5). Auburn and Kentucky are both still ranked.
But whatever. Keep rooting against us. Not sure I'd want it any other way!
