Coach Rittman made a hug mistake with the lead at the bottom

of the sixth inning by NOT bringing in Millie Thompson to finish the game out. Valerie was beginning to struggle and with FLA State so good at rallying late in games he just should not have allowed their potent lineup to have another go around with Cagle. By changing things up he could have squelched any attempt at any rally giving Clemson the victory. To give that lineup another chance at Valerie cost us the game in the end. I am sure he has been second guessing himself ever since!!!! I thought he had learned this lesson from our most recent losses......

FSU’s strategy worked by giving each of their starters time in the circle to keep them fresh. She pitched two full games in the middle of heat Friday and Saturday. Her face was flushed!

Yep, it's always the coach. Since we lost 4 games to FSU, maybe they are a better team. Great year so far for the Lady Tigers so don't take that away from them.

Don't worry, nobody can take anything from our lady Tiger softball team, or the young ladies that play bc, the remarkable job that the team, and coaches have done, it has been recorded in a forever records book!!!

He has done a H&11 of job in his first two seasons at Clemson, and to have a fan/fans to criticize him, it has to be a fan that's never satisfied with a high winning percentage, and in a second season with a new softball program. Some maybe not know just how lucky we are to have the wins we have with a second season softball team!!! IMHO, coach Rittman has done a H&11 of a job with our lady softball program!!!

Hindsight 20/20 of course. I thought so as well. Coaches have to do what they think is right in the moment. Overall we can't ask for a better coach.

That was a hell of a softball game. Hated to see anyone lose. Cagle is a beast, I for one like to ride my horse, coaches decision. Made plenty of them, some worked some didn't. Great team great opponent, great game, sometimes that crap happens.
