Coach Brownell's problem is X's and O's

they play good defense but on offense there is no movement. This team is does not have the internal drive to impose their offensive will on anyone. It is too easy to pass the ball on the perimeter and take a 3 point shot as the shot clock runs down. It takes more effort to run back door cuts or give and go plays than to throw up 3 point bricks.

What defense are you watching right now??

Plus, the shot clock isn't even winding down. They are a poor shooting perimeter offense, and it's baffling to all of us.

Our defense has been bad the whole game. So has our offense. Clemson is a footballer school and always will be. Louisville has a way better coach and way better players. Louisville has a rich history in b-ball. Our history is a joke. I’d rather win cfp games

I thought the problem was those horrible purple uniforms. Basketball needs to stick to orange & white.

Instead of being a waterboy maybe you should be a coach.

No, the problem is we field a team of athletes that have to play against actual basketball players.

His offensive philosophy only works when you have a team full of highly touted recruits. We don't get the type of players he needs to win in the ACC.
A coach that runs an up tempo style like Oliver Purnell is what we need at Clemson.

I believe that what we really really really need at Clemson is a bunch of fans that want to relive the glory days that
probably
never
realllly
happened.
CBB is the best X and O coach we've ever had, but if you want to hug and kiss him, you might find out he's a lot bigger than you think he is. And I don't think he likes fans hugging and kissing on him like that.

bring in an offensive coordinator. Brad could be head coach and defensive guru.

Louisville is a terrible matchup for us. You try getting in the lane, against two seven footers and get easy buckets in the lane. Again back cuts and going back door doesn’t work unless the defense respects you from three. And they really don’t work when Aamir can’t hit anything outside. Their big guys could stay in the lane as much as they wanted to because they weren’t really afraid of Aamir from three. Internal drive? really? The one thing you can’t attack these guys for is there lack of effort 99% of teams would’ve given up at 6-7 or given up down 10 on the road at unc with like 2 minutes to go. Idk how Brad is able to beat one of the most talented teams like Duke without being a great x’s and o’s coach, please stop being a victim of the moment. It would’ve taken a miracle to go there and beat that team.

Against UofL, we needed a near flawless game akin to Duke (50%+ FG 40%+ 3PT and limited TO). When you are 28% from 3pt then it is a hard night. Worse, that 3pt% is down against a larger, athletic team. While our TO were down, we had a few that contributed to UofL's run early in the 1st. Combine that with UofL inside presence a few second chances early... we were not able to stay close to have a chance. We did chip 20 points down to 13 late but we did not have the gas to win that one.
