Co-worker tried to tell me that we were not as good this year on offense....especially the line.

I told him that we only lost one first string lineman (Mitch) but that Jackson was doing a fabulous job.

Am I forgetting someone?

I also told him we did not lose too many on offense at all. I think Choice is the biggest one I could come up with.

What say you?

There was that Renfrow dude.

But it sounds like an argument that’s a waste of time to me anyway.

Ha....how could a person forget.

Sorry, but I've never followed the Cowboys. How does Amari Cooper fit into this thread?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Good question....just smh.

Jan 3, 2020, 10:26 PM

Perhaps he meant Amari Rodgers?

Renfro?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yes...we do miss him

Jan 3, 2020, 6:04 PM

How about the line? Besides Mitch?

Jan 3, 2020, 6:06 PM

We lost Justin Falcinelli as well.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Renfrow's missing and Ross has had a really tough year.

Jan 3, 2020, 6:07 PM

Other than that, we're better now that Amari is well and is trying to prove something.

The O-line is definitely better this year. It took nearly the entire season for the O-line to hit stride last year.

The memory non-Clemson fans have of our offense last year is the two CFP games. They didn't see the growth progress like we did.

Fabulous point. If someone is comparing any year to the performance our line showed up with against Alabama, it is going to seem lacking.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Great point!

I could tell he had not really watched much. And why would he? He is a TN fan with LSU as his second favorite team.

Funny....

Where I work, we are from everywhere in the U.S. My boss is an OU fan. We even have a UofSC fan. Bama, Aubrun, Ohio State, Pitt, FL, the real USC, VT, UVA, and WV to name a few others. But most are TN fans.

I am the only Clemson representative. ??

Go Tigers!

I'm probably fixn to be called a coot, but I've not thought the offense has been as crisp as last year. i do recognize we have played much better since the UNC game, but i sense our receivers not getting the kind of separation they did last year

Show him this on the line.... Remind him these are the opponent adjusted advanced efficiency stats of the SP+.... See what he thinks then:
