I think you are very incorrect. No one we face this year will be anywhere near the level of Georgia. And Clemson only lost by 7… with a slew of young new starters in the first game of the season. Let’s relax. Was a wonderful hame by the defense. Just need some fixing at play calling and some work on the o line

From there...it just depends on how this team progresses. I believe in this team and our coaches.

Not sure what positive could be taken from the O line play. We had a net rushing of 2 yards. Is that a record for Clemson Football? I challenge anyone to produce evidence of less net rushing yards in the history of the program. Improvements will come in some areas but our left tackle is still going to be 6'2" at the end of the season. That's not D1 size for a left tackle and the issue extends across the entire line. Is there a single NFL prospect starting on the O line? I agree that we might win the conference but I can't see this as a top 4 team by year end under any circumstance. It's a rebuilding year which is expected on offense. For the OL it seems that every year is a problem year and this year is no exception. Win out and beat the #####. Go Tigers and let's get these problems fixed with long term solutions.

It's a long season with a lot of football to be played. We are still the team to beat in the ACC and let's give this team a little support and see how they improve over the next few weeks before we doom them to mediocrity.
Also - who knows what the national football picture will look like come November/December? Tulane darn near upset #2 Oklahoma at home, OSU got all they could handle from un-ranked Minnesota and #16 LSU got pounded by unranked UCLA. Injuries, upsets and all kinds of other things are going to happen to change the national landscape so I wouldn't write off our team after losing in the first week to a top 5 team who has one of the best defenses in the country.

Neither team showed an offense but it’s because we saw the best two defenses in Football. We will improve

You do know that the only difference between Uga and Clemson this morning is they won a close game. Uga and Clemson both know they have great defenses and that their offenses need work. We will see both teams score points next week and everyone will be happy. We had a couple of chances on O last night and missed and did Uga. If DJ hits Ross in the 2nd or 3rd drive he would have went 80 something yards for a td but we all know about ifs and buts.

I realized this morning that Clemson benefits if UGA wins out and wins the SEC. A 13-0 UGA(SEC champs) with a 12-1 Clemson(ACC champs) puts the Tigers in the CFP.

Clemson lost on a pick-6 to a team that's going to be top 3 while they're going to face a top 15 team in the ACC. They'll be fine. Losing to UGA to start the season was the worst thing that could have happened to the rest of the ACC. It'll expose Clemson's weaknesses before any team has a chance to do it for an upset.
