reminds me of all the chicken comments and articles in newspapers around the state about their previous coach his first year or two:

1) I think he's a good fit for the program

2) He's going to have rebuild the mess left him by the previous staff.

3) The team just loves him.

4) I think he'll be just fine in the longrun.

5) Its hard being a gamecock.

Once you start reading and hearing stuff like this from those morons, you realize the wonderful world of poultry is slowly figuring out they have another loser as coach. And all the people who AREN'T coming to games in the brand new gazillion dollar arena tacitly agree.

And if Martin ever does get a couple of big name recruits to take interest in a basketball program who's biggest accomplishment in the last 30+ years was back-to-back NIT championships in the 90's.( Heck, Clemson's been to the Big Dance a bunch more than the chickens in that time-----though most of the rest of the ACC has made the NCAA Tournament a bunch more times than us in the last 30+ years.) the NCAA will have an entire floor rented at the Whitney for interviews and for their staff

most of the poultry fanatics have no clue that Ole Frankie was as much as forced out of K State because 80% of their returning players threatened to transfer if he was retained. Not to mention that his final Miami high school team went 0-36 after being forced by the Florida High School League to forfeit every game due to his shenanigans with illegal players. He fits the Columbia mold very well!!!!!!!!!

There was a time when Manhattan used to be a very solid program. 70's as I recall. Havent heard from them in years
