Clemson vs FSU- Media Perception

I was surprised this week to read all of the media hype around FSU. Finally, 2 weeks before the game, it's pretty safe for the media to start making predictions and talking about this game. I was under the impression that most people would favor Clemson because of the win over Georgia, the beatdowns on lower ranked teams, the fact that the game is played in Death Valley, etc.
I was surprised that I was VERY off. Nearly every person in the media that I have seen discussing the game seems to think Florida State should definitely beat us. And they are worshipping Jameis Winston like he is the next coming of Jesus. I'm just so surprised by this because they have beaten pretty much no one (no one really knew how Maryland was) and we have a win over a top 10 (possibly top 5?) team.
Well, Death Valley, SC is one of the toughest places in the country to play and I will be glad to welcome this over-hyped FSU team into our territory. You don't just walk out of DV with a win.
What are your thoughts?

FSU has a week off and that is a big plus for them. This will be a super game. The first team to take control will be in the drivers seat but each team has the capability to come back from a few touchdowns so it will probably go down to the wire. I think Winston is the real deal and if he is allowed to stay in the pocket, he will hurt us badly. At the end, Beasley will prevail.

Take these guys, for instance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHa--dHr8nE 4 guys, all reporters for CFB sites around the internet. They all seem to think FSU is significantly better than Clemson and will win handily. Only one of them, Mark Ennis, really gives Clemson any respect at all in the national perspective.

This morning the call in show I was listening too wasn't saying FSU would win. Just said that Clemson was the better team and at home.

I would prefer going in as the underdog. I hope the FSU players come into the Valley believing we are weak.

I think they can see we play better in the trenches. And the fact we have proven experienced players, and we're playing in DV, I think they favor us.

Media promotes the game to the most interested viewers.
There are more potential viewers in state of Florida than South Carolina so they pimp FSU to draw interest in the game.
Reality is we own FSU in the valley and they are starting a freshman quarterback who has no idea what is coming.

Maryland being ranked based on a 4-0 record was a joke. I have a buddy in Vegas who was all over FSU in three teamers and four teamers (with Clemson in both) and he was laughing all the way to the windows to collect at 12 to 1 and 6 to 1.
Our performance against BC will be telling as FSU struggled with them. Dabo needs to be putting in the game plan now and devoting 30% of this weeks practice time to FSU as he tightens it up for BC.
Also, Zack Brooks needs more PT and touches - he is a monster

MD QB got knocked out of the game, that they were playing in Tally, and that FSU has played NOBODY yet!!! And they have played NOBODY on the road (BC and Pitt).
If they almost got knocked off because of the piped in music in Boston, BOY OH BOY does the amazing awesome wonderful Mr. Winston have another thing coming!!
He's not going to know what (or who) hit him when he gets to Death Valley. Maybe Chris Rix should give him a call .

Winston will get the turnover bug against a real defense and actually having to throw the ball in under 10 seconds and will throw 2-3 picks and be sacked 4-6 times.
