Well, here we go again. The students are supposed to move into dorms in 7-8 days. I wonder if they will permit it to happen? Personally I expect the kids to keep suffering. I feel so sorry for them. Never have kids been forced to suffer so much from something that affects them so little.

indicating a spike in the virus' presence in wastewater samples from the treatment plant serving the northern part of the city."

That must be a fun job.

My daughter is going to grad school (well, remotely) here in Atlanta. Her fiance flew in from the west coast, and they visited some friends in Augusta last weekend. His first time back in GA since their engagement and the friends threw them an engagement party.

The one person who showed up uninvited called them to let them know he was showing symptoms on Monday.

West coast fiance started showing feeling run down on Tuesday, and Wednesday they both went to get tested.

Fiance tested positive, but is already feeling better. Daughter tested negative and went on a her daily 3 mile run today.

They will be retested this weekend.

Not surprising to see this as the kids are not

In any sort of bubble. Once they get settled in should be a safer environment than away from Clemson. Seeing same thing with players.

very closely. Regular students are going to be a different thing entirely.

We've seen similar in Brazos County (Home of TAMU). Green line on the chart is active cases. Texas opened back up in May and then instituted masks in buildings at the start of July. Students came back to campus in August... This past week, 95% of documented cases were between 18-24 years old.
