ND had an awful pitching staff, we only had about three hitting threats in the lineup. The regional exposed us.

the hitting is entirely too inconsistent for this team to make a serious run in the postseason.

Two of the best hitters on the team were a combined 5 for 33 in the Regional. That's an ineffectual .152 average.

It sucks but that's just the way it is.
