In fairness, I think a bunch of people have indicated that

they were very pleased with the team's effort last night, Judge.

Played hard! I was more than happy with their effort but definitely a tough loss.

MEG

This is probably your dumbest post.

Congratulations!

Brad sucks...Nothing changes that

Mar 10, 2022, 6:28 PM

.500 with THAT schedule? LMAO...What a joke. Your mom could have coached this team to .500 with this schedule.

Clemson paid him $147,000 per win this year.

Brad Brownell has THE easiest job in college basketball. $2.5+ million dollar contract, nice house on the lake, a boat and very low expectations, which he is living up to.

Winning 56% of your games over a 12 year period at a school where the program has accomplished very little in 110 years is actually very difficult. Not being able to maintain success is why the good coaches get out at the first offer before the bottom falls out ruining their career

Nothing you said there is correct. Nothing at all.***

Unfortunately the lack of accomplishments continues at Clemson!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

No, not really. I do agree that the reason Coach Brownell

hasn't left is because he isn't a good coach which, along with low expectations and the fact that nobody else wants him, has kept him around so long.

He has a 2nd home at the lake but unless Pickens County has not recorded the sale yet, Brownell still lives in Clemson. Either way, pretty sweet lake property.

Yeah, I think coaches have to have a house close to campus

Mar 10, 2022, 9:08 PM

to take full advantage of recruiting rules.

Stories like that make do difference because a winning team does not have to have a great QB but any QB has to have a great team if he wants to win a Championship.

Cobb, again, Brad is the 38th highest paid coach in America.

Mar 10, 2022, 9:18 PM

We had ONE YEAR where he earned that. In 12 years we've have a grand total of 2 tournament wins. That's not worth $2.6 million, and It's not the 38th best in accomplishments. Not even close.

Brad is a great guy and does everything right.. except win. I truly wish he could've gotten done, but he has not.
