Leadoff runner reaches for the third time in four innings, after Clayton hits a batter, and a second-straight inning with an error at SS sets the stage for an error at 3B in a rundown that allows a Huskies runner to score. 2-0 NE, two in scoring position with one out.

Clayton is able to strand two in scoring position with a short flyout to RF and a grounder right back to him. Through 3 1/2, it's 2-0 Northeastern.

Nick Clayton's day is done in the fifth after giving up an RBI single (3-1 Huskies). RHP Jay Dill (0-0, 1.08 ERA) coming in. Clayton hit a batter and walked one more to put two on (now two on and one out).

The RBI hit was the Huskies' first with a runner on today (1-for-14). After starting with 20 strikes in 24 pitches over the first two innings, 35 of his final 60 pitches were strikes.

Well now there's some contention now among the coaches with the umps over how many should have scored on the last review. Northeastern gets a run taken off the board after further examination and there's runners on the corners. 5-1 Huskies.
