Clemson LIFE Program is a True Inspiration......

I don't usually post anything here, but after witnessing an amazing event today, I just wanted to share what I saw. Don't know if this is a regular event or not, or how often it's done. After today's basketball game was over, the LIFE program had their intramural basketball game consisting of 4 teams. I had my grandkids with me so we hung around until most fans were gone. Then we saw the LIFE Program game about to start, so we decided to stay around and watch some of the action. I am so glad we did. It was simply amazing watching the talents these kids had out on the basketball court. Some were ringing up 3 point baskets just like the pros do. The excitement in these kids eyes were also an amazing thing to witness. If they ever have another one of these activities again, I hope more fans hang around and cheer these students on. You will sure be glad you did. One more great thing I saw while watching. President Jim Clements was right there on the sidelines cheering these students on.

My wife and I would've loved to have watched some of the Clemson LIFE scrimmage after the Tigers beat BC. We didn't know anything about it until we heard Coach Brownell mention it on the radio during his postgame show.
Lots of great things going on at Clemson that are both fun, educational and inspiring!

We stayed and watched as well. What an inspirational thing to watch. We had tickets to the second baseball game and were looking to kill some time. I am really glad we stayed. Watched it with the wife and my kids. I have to say there were a few players that had better 3 point shots than me. The last game was won with a last second shot, somewhere in the upper 20s.
