Clemson girl/Dawg girl saga

For anyone who may care, here’s a review: I dated intelligent, cute but little bit nerdy Clemson girl for a couple years, we broke up, I started dating fun, hot, former cheerleader but not as bright, Dawg girl for about a year, we broke up, I called up and got back together with nerdy Clemson girl for a couple months before that blew up, and now I’m back with Dawg girl, Who just showed up uninvited on my front porch two months ago and we’ve been dating ever since.
Question for anyone who still may be reading: have you ever had success with a second round? I never have, should I even waste my time?

Good question, and I’m not sure. She used the old “we got way too serious way too fast “ reason for the break up, and we both come with a fair amount of baggage and four kids total. What hasn’t changed is we have a lot of fun together, and based on my past relationships, that means a lot

There are many areas of that sex that you need to seek out. My suggestion is to try and date a Winthrop woman. It has worked out well for me and one does not depend on sports affiliation. Good luck.

Go for it. I met this girl my first day of College. We dated for 6 months or so. After we broke up I moved on. She left school. About a year later she called me and we started dating again. It We make it to October we will be married 54 years. Second time around sure worked for me!

Maybe that’s where I read it. No, I had an older engineer and coworker at my first job tell us young guys that. Keep in mind, he had been divorced at least once. I married a HS and Clemson sweetheart. We’ve been married for 22 years in May so I say that tongue in cheek. I actually have good advice if he wants to DM but first and foremost is that you have to have a God-centric marriage and anything that’s not built on a foundation and relationship with God will crumble.

This is coming from a woman…I’m a tateress. That porch thing almost sounds like a booty call to me. Just sayin ?? and I’m not saying she isn’t also interested in more from you but she probably realized the grass isn’t greener on the other side. If either of you have intentions of getting married again at all in the future you’ll have to navigate the mixed families no matter who you marry. Even if that person had no kids of their own it’s still tricky.
