Clemson baseball needs to do a lot of work!!!!!

Jun 8, 2013, 1:41 PM

I have been watching games on TV the last two weekends plus I went to Columbia to see Clemson play and Clemson has fallen way behind. Clemson has fallen way behind 1. USC thier park is light years ahead of Clemson. 2. UNC 3. UVA 4. FSU 5. U of L

Not sure about NCState's ball park I know they invested a lot in a new park several years ago plus GaTech has a new park. I think you will see VaTech invest in a new park very soon.

Right now Doug Kingsmore Field would be 5th or 6th in the ACC its time for Clemson to step up and do more than a little facelift.

There is so much Clemson can do to improve Tiger Field and it is way overdue...

Why would Va tech get a new field? They have made 2 NCAA Tournaments in 13 seasons. A fluke run in the ACC Tournament will change nothing for them.

They have gotten better and better since coming into

the ACC. I could be wrong but I see them investing in baseball there is a lot of great high school talent in VA.

One of the most picturesque you will ever see !

Is that due to the old seneca river bed weaving through...

You are right but Clemson nees to

take advantage of that and bring the ball park up to the standard that other teams have set. USC need ball park is light years ahead of Clemson's in everyway. I was shocked when I went to see Clemson play down there.

investing in upgrades to the ball park. The Clemson baseball program will be here long after Jack is gone.

That's because

Clemson 'fans' sit on Tigernet and ##### and moan instead of supporting the team.

Clemson needs to improve but they 'don't have a lot of work to do!'

Has UNC, Vanderbilt, FSU, Virginia, Ga Tech done anything on a national level?

I give credit to South Carolina, but it's not the end of Clemson. Both have a lot of tradition.

Since we are leveling the field, adding superior drainage, improving players facilities, and adding box seats, what more would you have us do? It is easy to complain, but not be a part of the solution. And by the way, how much have you contributed to the renovations?
