Fan base in hiring of coaches many times. They need to improve their hiring skills. Outside of Noonan, Dabo, and ladies softball what do we have.

The success of our football and soccer programs have given us all a false impression of our sports programs and success. Take a look around our sports programs today. I for one will go on the record of saying these folks that get paid big bucks have failed us in most cases. Thank the Lord for past AD Phillips. With out him we would really be in the dumpster. Don’t misunderstand. I have loved Clemson for over 60 years and want us to succeed in everything. It’s painful lately.

Yes Phillips hired OP and Dabo. He also hired Brad Brownell, but don't think Brad would have lasted past the 7th season Phillips.

The decision has been made on our basketball coach for next year. Ignoring it or not will change nothing. You babies continuing to throw your daily temper tantrums is just getting stale and boring.

No school in the history of sport wins championships in every sport and never will. Championships are great but not the end of the world if they are not won.

Winning championships and being competitive is two different things. At this time we are not competitive in most of the sports we play.

We are carrying respect in soccer, football, and ladies softball. Other than that, I see no respect in our conference regionally or nationally in any other sport. I hope I’m wrong and if so point it out to me. I want Clemson to be competitive in the sports they play. From what I’ve seen the VA TEC AD has done a much better job except in soccer and football

Maybe on the VA Tech AD, but if you are missing on football, that's a pretty big miss.

Yes , I agree. Football is still king no matter where you go. I had rather be successful in football more than any other sport. However, I would like to see us be more respected in other sports other than just football, soccer, and softball. We should be doing better and it is all about the coach in the sport. You may not like her but look at what Dawn Staley has done. They were nothing before she arrived. Some AD either got lucky or was good.
