From a Syracuse friend: Syracuse will most likely be at Clemson during the first 3 weeks of the season. They are fixing the roof on the Dome and will have to play several early games on the road.
My guess is we open with the Cuse the first week.

The roof is being completely replaced.
That said, the athletic department must vacate the Carrier Dome on March 1 which will impact late-season men’s and women’s basketball play, men’s and women’s lacrosse teams, spring football practice, and commencement activities. However, the new roof is expected to be in place by the start of the 2020 football season.

Syracuse will not be at Clemson the second and third week. They have nonconference opponents scheduled those two weeks and Clemson has Akron the 3rd week.
