Marcus Freeman is lighting it up in recruiting at Notre Dame. Crazy what they are doing.

But they need a quarterback desperately.

They got a pretty good commit for 2024, but he’s not a top-five QB, and he won’t see the field for years. They need a stud in this quarterback class but they’re not going to get one. The last top quarterback committed over the weekend. Dante Moore committed to Oregon. Clearly a case of follow the money!

When Chris Vizzina committed to Clemson the Notre Dame recruiting shows, while disappointed, said don’t worry about it because Dante Moore was pretty much a lock to Notre Dame and they said Dante Moire is much better and ready to start now.

Of course, like Cade Klubnik, Vizzina has shot up the boards since committing to Clemson.

Can’t wait to see how Notre Dame recruiting experts spin this one. No matter how good this 2023 recruiting class ends up being, even if it ends up being number one, which is a distinct possibility, it will be disappointing because it won’t have a top-five QB.

Yep, both Vizzina and Klubnick impressed in showcase events and justifiably moved up in the ratings. In fact Vizzina has surpassed Moore in some services. You’re right about ND lighting it up…let’s see if it translates in a few years.
