I wonder if one is getting the information from the other.

I will say this... OU AD is pretty good at keeping this thing extremely locked down. If there's a leak, it didn't come from OU side.

Tells me that BV was not their first choice and that OU was waiting to see if their first choice, who coached in a game this weekend, would accept their offer.

Hate to see Venables go but if he ever wants to be a head coach then it's almost a now or never situation. I still hope Venables stays at Clemson but Larry Williams is usually spot on in his reporting...

If Larry Williams says it then I am going to believe it. So cue the Defensive transfer portals from Clemson comments now and the our defense will be trash next year posts now.

It doesn't make sense. This could have been a done deal last week. As it is right now OU is a dumpster fire.
