I sure thought there were more fans at our game than the game in Charlotte but that was not the case. According to the stat sheets, we had 39,000 in Orlando and there was 45,000 in Charlotte. Maybe the way Panther Stadium is built, there are more lower seats.

Personally the attendance numbers do not bother me but the posts of shortsighted people who always trash other teams without looking at facts first does. Absolutely if I was a Duke's Mayo Bowl official I would be upset, maybe angry, that only 45,000 North and South Carolina fans showed up but in reality that was a big crowd compared to so many games. Just don't condemn others until you realize we are not always perfect.

Still poor showing in Charlotte. Both UNC and UofSC within 2 hours of Charlotte and could only muster 45K.
Iowa State was 1400 miles from Orlando and Clemson is 8 hours away.
