Chase Brice to S. Florida with Jeff Scott?

Rumors are out that Chase is going to transfer. It only makes sense that he goes with Scott to South Florida. Has anyone heard anything like this?

Chase already knows the offense. He would be like a coach on the field. Plus we have DJU coming in next year.

Plus Taisun Phommach seems like a stud and would be 3 deep. We definitely need another stud in the 2021 class. We would be terribly thin if Taisun ever transferred too.

He's in his 3rd year, so he will probably graduate at the end of the current school year. Just a guess based on other players timelines.

He's a redshirt freshman. All of USF QB's are underclassman.
There's no reason to believe Chase Brice is going to USF. Suggesting so is lining up dots that aren't there.

Clemsontigers.com lists Chase as a redshirt sophomore so this season was his third year.

I have heard persistent murmurs he intends to transfer. Maybe so, maybe not, but folks who are usually in the know seem to think it's a possibility.
If he graduates he's probably gone. USF might actually be selling himself a little short; I could actually see him on the same lists that Jake Bentley might be in line for - Michigan, Georgia, even LSU. All would seem to be in the market next year for a capable veteran QB in the Portal.

college football turning into the nba - I don't like the transfer thing. That being said, it makes total sense for Chase. DJU looks like he's a 6-yr NFL pro. Clemson could be looking at 10 years of NFL 1st rd signal callers

USF has four (4) QB's on the roster...

The starter is Jordan McCloud who is a redshirt freshman and the brother of Ray Ray McCloud. Senior Blake Barnett is the primary back-up followed by Sophomore Kirk Rygol who is from Fort Mill, SC. The fourth is true freshman Jah'Quez Evans.
McCloud's 2019 numbers were 124 of 224 passing for 1,429 yards, 12 TD's and, 8 interceptions. He was also the teams second leading rusher with 105 carries for 471 yards and 4 TD's.
Before signing with USF, he had offers from BC, Maryland, Colorado State, Iowa State, Bowling Green, and Toledo.

listed at 6'0" and 190# - he's smaller than that.
Brings a run element to the position & has an OK arm and an OK touch on it . . . but is QUICK to run when things start to collapse.
Chase would have the opportunity to do REALLY well . . . .

OMG that might be worse the Feasters choice... go from national program to obscurity in the bottom tier of football? He should do a Joe Burrow and go to a major program that fits his style. LSU did that for Burrow, heck he could go to LSU. Burrow will be gone after this year...
