What is your biggest fear?

Jan 21, 2022, 7:37 PM

Mine is dying alone. Meat Loaf was so fortunate to have his family by his side in his final hours. Yes, this is a depressing poast, but it reminded me to tell the people I love how I feel before something happens that deprives of that privilege.

Not afraid of dying, but do fear death before enjoying good retirement years. I’ve had an unusually high number of coworkers die very soon after retirement.

Curious about something. For many years after graduating college I had these recurring dreams that I was suddenly in class and was totally unprepared for an exam. Or I would dream I had skipped class all semester and suddenly realized I had missed a bunch of assignments. Anyone ever have college related stress dreams like that? I was a good student and never did that stuff in real, but still had the recurring dreams. I got old and finally outgrew them I guess.

I often have a similar dream.

I haven’t been to class all semester and today is our final exam. Or I am prepared for the final exam but I can’t find the right classroom.

I have a very similar recurring dream. I have forgotten that I signed up for a class and haven't gone all semester, and it's too late to drop. The final is coming and I'm trying to figure out if I can pass somehow. I've probably had this dream about once a year for the 36 years since I graduated.

This question always has me thinking and gives me dread.

I've already came to the conclusion that me dying alone is very probable but I'm still a long way from that hopefully, so who knows.

But as of now, I have a huge fear of losing my hair, my eyes/eye sight, or my teeth. Also, being alone drifting at sea is pretty terrifying. Ocean=scary
