My beautiful wife and I were married in Fort Worth, Texas on April 20 th 65 years ago. This wonderful journey has been joined along tha way by four fantastic children, ten grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Most of them have come together this weekend to celebrate our harmonious and happy life together with a big dinner tonight for family and our friends. We are among the one out of a hundred couples who get to celebrate 65 years together. We are blessed.

celebration worthy. My parents managed 60 years, I remember we also had a big celebration for them.

That's wonderful! My wife and I will celebrate our 50th July 23. Seems longer than 50 years, but who's counting/ (Just kidding! Broomhilda is a wonderful to have put up with me for all these years. That's for sure!!!) Someone asked what I was going to do for her on our 50th? I said I was taking her to Australia. They said, "WOW! What will you do for the 51st? I said, "Well, if I really miss her, I'll probably go back and bring her back home". Truth is, I doubt I could make it for a year without her, nor would I want to. Congrat's again, and GO TIGERS!

we will soon have 50 years together. Along way from HS best friends who dated others and reconnected by chance a few weeks after graduation. Used to write each other a few letters a week while I was at Clemson and she was at Greenville. Probably good there wasnt a cell phone back then

sounds like both you and the missus are very fortunate.had grandparents who made it to the low 60's.can't remember the number.they had 11 children-2 girls and 9 boys.made for fun holidays and get tothers.

I’m very sure my wife will kill me long before 65 years is reached. We just passed 9 years and she started doing that ax tossing sport. And she’s getting decent at it.
