FSU starts 7 righties (3 Switch) and 2 lefties vs LHP
They DH lefties vs RHP and that gives them 7 lefties and 2 righties vs Crawford.
Having said that they're not that impressive. They do hit .259 as a team which is slightly better than our .253, but we have hit 68 bombs compared to their 46. I'll take the extra 22 homeruns for a .006 difference in batting avg everyday of the week.
They do walk a ton. Team OBP is .390 so like us, they benefit tremendously from the "free 90's."
One thing we don't do much of is walk people so taking that into consideraton they can have the "leftie vs rightie","rightie vs leftie" matchups. I'll take our control vs their lack of avg and mediocre power at Doug Kingsmore.
Their team defense isn't that good either at .968.
Cal Raleigh has committed 10 errors behind the plate. Wow. 10
I dont' know if the majority are bad throws or pass balls. If they're pass balls then LOOK OUT. We know what this team can do right now with runners moving into scoring position for free basically.
Long story short (jk) i think it is very fair to expect a series win and i don't think it is a far reach to expect a sweep. Gotta shift the attention from the classroom to the diamond real fast.
We need a packed Doug Kingsmore. C U there. Go Tigers!

I’ll be there Saturday with my camper. Several guys from the cheap sets out there too. Spittoon bus as well. Come by and have a beer. Out past back entrance where players park.

Passed balls for errors keeping a book so no biggie. I kept the book for the varsity baseball team because that and charting pitches was about all I was good enough to do. I loved and played football well but I have a depth perception issue in my eyesight that couldn't be corrected back then. Anyway good post!
