I heard someone mention this yesterday. How has the Democratic Party name escaped the cutting room floor? I don't think the Dems should change their name, but with so many offended by virtually everything, how has the Party that supported slavery and Jim Crow laws been given a pass?

the "bad" side of the human decency spectrum, but are we pretending that there actually wasn't an ideological shift and of the parties and pretty broad-scale switch of many of their members from the 1920s-60s, based primarily on race and civil rights?

Currently almost 70% of black kids have no father in the household.

I have thought about this before. It doesn’t matter if there was a switch, the Democratic Party was the party of the slaves. They need to change their name. It’s only right.... to cure racism.

That does not appear to be the standard among the idiots running the SF school system. I would venture to say that George Washington and Abraham Lincoln would be in the plus column if good works is the standard. However, neither were members of the Democratic Party either, not that that is the issue.
