if it had been DJ that threw for 300 yards, no turnovers, and won the ACCCG???
There is something about this situation that is strange and we will never know the details, but something just isn't right. Period.

I think we all know the truth without actually knowing it. Dabo promised DJ the starting job (for whatever the reason(s) may actually be) and he kept his word, detrimental to the team as a whole or not. It's both something to appreciate and something to question.
We'll never know for sure the what the reasons are, but I truly believe in my heart that was why. He was loyal to DJ to a fault.

I can only assume it's NIL related and that DJ didnt get paid somehow if he didnt start enough games and Dabo didn't want to take money out of his pocket. Totally a guess but I'm at a loss why we were subjected to the last 4-5 games when we had what appears to be our next great QB on the bench.

Maybe Streeter called a great game or maybe Cade may have made great plays whatever was called. Not overly impressed with either of our coordinators. Trying to win with a running game is not going to work in todays game. All of our great teams were led by great quarterbacks that could pass.

That's sweet, Coach. But what about performance and winning? Is love and loyalty to one player worth losing to your arch-rival and losing a playoff berth (and a possible natty), for the rest of the players and the fans? Because it's very clear that Dabo (perhaps blinded by love) thought DJ deserved to be the starter for the ACCCG, but obviously Klubnik outperformed DJ against UNC (and Syracuse) and deserved to be the starter. Terrible judgement from a head coach who gets paid $11.5M/year to make such judgements. But love is blind.
