CAN WE STOP SAYING OUR PLAYERS 'DONT CARE'

Seriously, we didn't lose last night because the players don't care about this rivalry - those seniors just went 0-fer against the coots. They care more than we do because they are personally responsible for the results - we lost because we have no depth on D and because we couldn't contain their pressure on Tajh. Theres not a single player on this team who doesnt care about it, and I don't appreciate a bunch of couch-sitting fans insinuating this.

Coaches on the other hand - their comments are going to make it seem like they don't care because they're trying to downplay the fact that we've lost 4 straight to the coots and they're trying to accentuate the positive in order to keep their jobs - can you really blame them? They care a lot but are not going to harp on their own failures because it's bad for business. I actually think they 'overthink' the SC game lately by getting away from our gameplan that has worked all year with new offensive wrinkles that don't work and ignoring obvious answers to pass rush like screens and draws.

My main point is don't tell these players they don't care, they tried their best but fell short from a mix of bad depth, defense, strength and strategy.

most of the same guys i believe,this loss will do the same to whatever bowl we go to this year.same ol clemson.
yes i am pi$$ed off at the product on the field in big games is ridiculous.

We lost because we did NOT make the basic plays...#9 dropped 2 INTs that led to carolina TDs..#26 dropped another...

My point exactly - we lost because of poor execution on the field, not because he didn't care enough to try to catch the ball - just like our O line got beat by Clowney because he's an NFL caliber DE and we didn't have better protection schemes in place. Our boys did what they could, and got beat. I'm not going to further throw them under the bus and say they weren't trying.
