I will phrase it this way.

Tyler Davis was an undersized afterthought in our class last season and he was the starter to open the season against GA Tech.

In a 3 man front, he was dominant at times this year.

Comparatively, Bresee is on another planet as a prospect.

If Bresee can pick up the schemes and play within the system early then he can absolutely be dominant.

With his size & agility, you’d think as long as he can pick up the scheme quickly that he’ll be an instant difference maker like Christian Wilkins was. He can play either inside or out like CW. Expect big things from him

Tyler Davis was the composite #12 DT in the country. Hardly an afterthought.

He was an afterthought in our class.

Nobody was talking about him as a headliner or saying that he would be dominant early.

Of course he was a very talented player and highly rated, but in terms of how he was viewed he was not a focal point of the class.

Davis last year is similar to Capeheart this year. Capeheart is a great player but gets lost in the mix because of bigger name guys who everyone loves to talk about.

According to Dabo Bresee is a more violent heavy handed player than CW42. CW stepped in immediately and our DL could use some help with being havoc makers on the inside, I think he starts or plays a ton of early time immediately.

He will see a lot of playing time for sure I think. I try to keep in mind that he was a grown man playing with a lot of boys in HS, and he will be matched up with guys his size at the college level, but I am very excited to see what he does in that atmosphere!!!

So I'd say yes.
