Sure Okey should have held on to the ball...but it should not have come down to that. However, please explain to me why Matt Campbell, a proven senior, didn't pitch a single pitch this series? He was warm that whole 9th inning while Schmidt had clearly lost it....that folks is lousy coaching.

Jack failed to pull pitchers quick enough the entire series. With the quality depth of the pitching staff there is no excuse to leave a pitcher on the mound when he has began to tire or it is clear he is not on his game. I know as a coach you want to show confidence in your players and let them work through struggles or be rewarded by getting to finish what they started but when it comes down to winning you do what it takes. Jack has lost his edge as a coach and needs to go.
