Brownell and Basketball Program

Gotta admit that I was one of the ones frustrated with our basketball season and coach last year, but also have to say that the response at the end of the season demonstrated real resilience and fight.
I am extremely excited about next year’s basketball team and glad we are giving Brownell another shot. Believe we will be a veteran led program with PG and Hunter and really think we have a tournament team again. Love our recent transfer.
Am excited for football as always, but especially for basketball as well.

Serious question, does the basketball program keep a spreadsheet of all the Tigernet handles/passwords? If so y’all have too much time on your hands. That would also mean it’s time to cut the staffers and devote more $ to assistant coaches.

Who do you think you’re fooling. 58 posts in a decade. Not one even remotely negative about Brownell. And I’m sure purely coincidently 1 of those 58 is agreeing with Judge Keller that the 2021 basketball team was THE BEST IN THE HISTORY OF CLEMSON BASKETBALL. But in that limited post history you had time to stir the pot about Dabo going to the Raiders? By resilience does only the 5-1 streak to end the season or should we count any part of 5-7 streak that eliminated us from any and all post season consideration? How can you excited about next year’s squad when we have no idea what are starting five will remotely look like. We’re still missing a replacement for 2 of our top 5 starters and our bench wasn’t particularly impressive or even utilized.

You are right, I am not a frequent poster. Didn’t mean to stir pot with Dabo, but see what people are hearing. Not sure why this crowd is so hostile especially to those without a lot of points.
Love Clemson university and was always a big tigernet fan, but it’s looking like it’s not good time spent on this board.

It’s more that’s not a great time to support Brownell for unsubstantiated reasons and claim to have been frustrated when you have never expressed that here. But the Brad Brownell Bros are always enlisting. You got on the bandwagon that last year was best team ever. Got on the bandwagon the last off-season changes were improvements. Both weee demonstrably false. What makes you believe your confidence in next year’s team which, as of now, is severely more limited than this year’s no post season team.

Good point. That probably was some recency bias. Had forgotten about that post. One thing to clarify, I am not a big fan of Brownell, but still think one more year was the right call. I actually believe in PJ Hall as a star in his junior year and think he transfers if Brownell leaves.
I actually enjoyed watching the Purcell teams more. Remember that game where we destroyed Duke in Littlejohn.
In any case, will stick with my bet we make the big dance.
Other bet is that Cade starts before end of football season, but suppose that might be an easier prediction to make.
