Oh yes, my friends. Certain inanimate steel and concrete overpasses that many of us underpass daily were built just low enough to deny 'black buses' access to privileged areas. And as we all know, 'black buses' are usually taller than 'white buses' because they have to accommodate basketball players and whatnot.
Is it any wonder China is kicking our #ss?

can't all inanimate objects like a bridge be racist? Just a matter of time before we all realize that our cell phones are racist. The words racism and racist have absolutely zero meaning anymore. Like everything else it touches, the left has corrupted the true meaning of these words and turned them into a clown show that diminishes the suffering of real racism victims.
This "bridges are racist" nonsense is just the latest round of "____ is racist" insanity that proves our country is being run by an idiot class that is propped up by an even bigger idiot class known as the main stream media.

Any bridge with a toll is racist. Most tolls are more than it cost to get an ID; and we all know how racist IDs are.

What he was actually talking about was Robert Moses, New York's famously racist public official who once held about half the titles in the state, from the parks to transportation. Moses had his hand in everything and was sort of The Man Who Built New York. Literally. There was a book written in 1974 - which Buttigieg, being a genius who reads, like, everything (sorry, "Buttgiggles" speaks seven different languages and has about double the IQ of anyone making fun of him here) obviously read called The Power Broker that tells, among myriad other revelations about Moses, how he deliberately built overpasses extra-low to prevent buses carrying poor minorities from reaching areas whites didn't want them in.
So this whole premise of low-overpasses-blocking-poor-people-in-buses was sort of an article of faith up in New York for years, but it was also sort of an urban legend of questionable veracity. Bloomberg actually did an article a few years back looking at the truth of it and said: well, sorta.
