Brian Kelly claimed he would never leave Notre Dame a week

before he left for the LSU job.
This was the headline of a web story. He said it would take a fairy godmother dropping off a $250 million dollar check, and if that happened, he would at least run it by his wife.
Now, I don't know what his contract at LSU will be, but I don't think it is in THAT range. But, it just shows that in today's cutthroat world of Big Time, Big Money College Football, loyalty, and truth, are for sale. Athletic Directors across the country should be quaking in their boots this morning, because now, NO coach is immune to being raided by another school. All it takes is the right inducements. That may be money, or more power, or something specific to that person.
But rest assured, from now on, it's different than it ever has been. Like the USC AD said, (paraphrasing) "We didn't mean to change the landscape of college football forever with the Lincoln Riley hire. But, we now realize that we did."

Rumor is LSU is offering in the range of a 10 year 10 million per year 100 million dollar contract. At ND he was getting paid a little less than 3 million.
