Because he has given up at least 2 runs. You have a bull pen full of pitchers. Use them all and win this game tonight. Braves had a 4 run lead. Now a 2 run lead. Pitcher does not have it tonight.

He isn't going to pull him right now. Wouldn't make sense to pull him now when he's scheduled to bat 2nd in the next inning. You'd be wasting a reliever.

Well he was our best option to eat a few innings this game. He’s the only starter we had bc we used up Wright last night and we’re saving our best 2 incase we go back to Houston.

I wouldn’t have burned a bullpen arm and a pinch hitter this early in a crucial game. May need them for later. Not to mention one of our batters on the bench is nothing more then a pinch runner. 1 career RBI and 40 SBs.

This is what happens when you over use a bullpen against a good hitting team. Eventually there gonna get there timing right. Doesn’t help they’ve seen our relievers more then our starters. But there in the same boat as us.

Yep, and Chavez does not even have major league stuff. We should have threw our best and hoped to win 4 to 0 instead of throwing our worst pitchers and now we are tied.

I guess I’m in the minority. I think he did the right thing. Max did not look great his last two outings and some wanted him today. I think that would have been a bad idea.
Yes it sucks MAJORLY to blow a 4-0 lead but our pitching staff is what it is at this point. We’ve got two starters left and like 3.5 guys we can trust in the bullpen and that’s it. Now the starters will be full rest for the next two. If they can’t get it done then they don’t deserve to win the series. IMO I don’t always agree with his decisions but Snit has done a great job getting us here with this patchwork team.

have some cubic zirconias. Issue an intentional pass to load the bases, and then your pitcher walks in a run because he has no clue of how to get a pitch into the strike zone looking like anything other than a batting practice ball that says HIT ME!
What a waste of a perfectly acceptable Grand Slam.
