Former Clemson guard transfers to Tulane

Former Clemson guard Scott Spencer is transferring to Tulane for the 2021 season. Looking at his stats, his overall game doesn't look to be that good.

Last year, for La Salle, he averaged 7.0 points, 2.7 rebounds, 0.6 assists, and 1.4 turnovers per game in 19.4 minutes per game.

His 3 point shooting percentage was good at 44.3%, but his overall shooting percentage was just 38.9% (which means he shot like 30% from 2).

I highly doubt he would have seen the floor for us.

Hilarious that some people are using this to bash brownell and our program.

If we picked up someone from the transfer portal with these stats they would be crying as well. We surely have some real pathetic basketball “fans”

Blast from the past....

He’s nearly 24 years old now...will be 25 after next season.
That’s a long time to play college basketball.

But the degree from Tulane, if he gets it, will be helpful.

Looking at his other stats, I don't think Spencer is what the team was missing. I think it's pretty clear that Spencer still wouldn't see the court for us.
