I guess he's counting on us ( 7-0 all, 5-0 conf ) losing to Cuse ( 6-0 all, 3-0 conf ) next week. It's the only way that the Bucknuts ( 6-0 all, 3-0 conf ) can stay ahead of us. They next play hapless Iowa ( 3-3 all, 1-2 conf ).

If both Ohio State and Clemson are undefeated- the. The Buckeyes will be the 2 seed. I am not convinced they will beat Michigan. But I don’t think the winner of that game will have a loss.

Ohio State would probably prefer not to play Clemson in AZ based on past history.

TBH I'm sick of playing Ohio State too. I would hope CU would match with Tenn. or UGA in the first round.

Either Tennessee or Georgia will have a loss pretty soon after they play each other.

Whoever wins that game has to face Bama in the SEC title game.

There is a reasonable chance that Bama, UGA, and UT all have a loss on their record when final CFP selections are made.

Heck, there's a chance that a 4th SEC team, Ole Miss, will also finish the season with one-loss (they don't have to play Tenn or UGA during regular season)

I wouldn't count on it. I think Bama has made the playoff before with 1 regular season loss and without making the SEC championship game.

The pickings were slimmer then. It all depends on who wins their title game. If a one loss Bama defeats an undefeated SEC East champ, those two will both get in. I just don’t see Bama losing another game before the CFP.
